Community Guidelines

YouFree is a place to express yourself, build relationships, and discover the world. These guidelines apply to everything on the platform — posts, reels, stories, comments, messages, live streams, audio rooms, profiles, group chats, shops, and ads. Following them keeps YouFree safe and welcoming for everyone.

What's Welcome

• Authentic self-expression and creative content.
• Respectful conversation and constructive feedback.
• Educational, artistic, and entertaining content.
• Communities built around shared interests.

What's Not Allowed

1. Violence & Dangerous Behavior

• No threats, incitement, or glorification of violence.
• No content depicting graphic violence, gore, or animal cruelty.
• No content promoting dangerous challenges, self-harm, or suicide.

2. Hate & Harassment

• No hate speech targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• No bullying, intimidation, or sustained harassment.
• No doxxing or sharing private information without consent.

3. Adult & Sensitive Content

• No nudity or sexually explicit content.
• Absolutely no content sexualising or endangering minors.
• Sensitive content (medical procedures, recovery scars, etc.) may be allowed with content warnings.

4. Illegal Activity

• No promotion or facilitation of illegal drugs, weapons, or services.
• No selling regulated goods that require licenses you do not have.
• No facilitating human trafficking, smuggling, or fraud.

5. Spam, Scams & Fake Engagement

• No mass messaging, follow/unfollow spam, or buying followers.
• No phishing, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent monetization.
• No misleading clickbait, fake giveaways, or impersonation of brands.

6. Intellectual Property

• Only post content you own or have permission to share.
• Use only licensed sounds and music from our library when available.
• Repeat infringers will lose access to the platform.

7. Misinformation

• No deliberate spreading of false health information that could cause harm.
• No election interference or manipulated media intended to deceive.

Live Streams & Audio Rooms

Real-time content must follow the same rules. Streamers are responsible for their guests, viewers, and chat. Repeated violations during live broadcasts may result in immediate termination of the stream and account.

Shops & Commerce

Sellers must accurately describe products, honor refunds where applicable, comply with local consumer-protection laws, and never sell prohibited items.

Reporting

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it from the in-app menu (post, comment, profile, message, ad, or live stream). Our trust & safety team reviews reports around the clock with a mix of automated tooling and human moderators.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity and history of the violation, we may take any of the following actions: warning, content removal, comment/feature restriction, hiding from explore/recommendations, temporary suspension, or permanent termination. You can appeal certain enforcement actions from inside the app.
