Welcome to YouFree. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and YouFree ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of the YouFree mobile apps, websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use YouFree. Users under 18 may need parental or guardian consent depending on local law.
  • You must not be barred from using the Service under the laws of your country or any other applicable jurisdiction.
  • You must not have been previously suspended or removed from YouFree.

2. Your Account

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, including a valid email or phone number.
  • Keep your password and any two-factor authentication codes secure. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
  • Notify us immediately at security@yfree.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You may enable two-factor authentication, recovery codes, and trusted contacts for added security.
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions.

3. The Service

YouFree provides social and creator features, including but not limited to:

  • Posts & Reels: Share photos, videos, text, polls, hashtags, and mentions.
  • Stories & Highlights: Share moments that disappear after 24 hours, or save them as highlights.
  • Sounds: Use licensed audio in reels and stories.
  • Live Streams & Audio Rooms: Broadcast live to your audience, host guests, receive gifts, and join battles.
  • Messaging: One-to-one and group chats, voice notes, vanishing messages, custom chat themes, and end-to-end encryption where supported.
  • Groups & Communities: Join interest-based groups and shared albums.
  • Discovery: Explore feed, hashtags, trending content, and personalized recommendations.
  • Shops: Browse and purchase from verified sellers.
  • Monetization: Subscriptions, coins, tips, gifts, and creator payouts via cashout requests.
  • Ads: Promoted posts, reels, and stories shown to relevant audiences.

Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. Some features may require identity verification or a paid subscription.

4. Your Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights in the content you create and publish on YouFree (your "Content").

4.2 License You Grant Us

By submitting Content, you grant YouFree a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, publish, publicly display, modify (e.g. for thumbnails, captions or translations), distribute, and create derivative works of your Content solely for the purposes of operating, providing, promoting and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your Content or your account, except where Content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law.

4.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your Content and the consequences of posting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your Content, including any music, images, or third-party material it contains.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use YouFree to:

  • Post content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, harassing, threatening, or violently graphic.
  • Bully, intimidate, dox, or stalk other users.
  • Impersonate any person, brand, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Engage in spam, scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent monetization.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Circumvent moderation, rate limits, content filters, or enforcement actions.
  • Sell, transfer, or trade accounts.
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights (including intellectual property rights).

See our Community Guidelines for full details. Violations may result in content removal, restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination.

6. Monetization, Payments & Coins

  • Subscriptions: Eligible creators may offer paid subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. Recurring fees renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Coins, Tips & Gifts: Coins are a virtual, non-refundable currency used to send tips and gifts inside the Service. Coins have no monetary value outside YouFree and cannot be exchanged for cash except via approved creator payout flows.
  • Creator Payouts: Eligible creators may request cashouts subject to our payout thresholds, KYC/identity verification, and applicable taxes.
  • Refunds: Except where required by law, all coin purchases and subscription payments are non-refundable. Disputed charges should be reported to billing@yfree.app within 14 days.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your earnings.

7. Advertising

YouFree may show ads, sponsored posts, reels, or stories within the feed and elsewhere. Advertisers may target ads using non-identifying signals such as interests, language, age range, and location. You can hide individual ads, manage interest categories, and report misleading ads from the in-app menu.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, trademarks, and the YouFree logo, is owned by YouFree and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our trademarks or brand assets. Report copyright or trademark infringement to dmca@yfree.app.

9. Reports, Moderation & Enforcement

You can report content, accounts, ads, comments, messages, and live streams from inside the app. We use a combination of automated systems and human review. Enforcement actions may include warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent termination. You may appeal enforcement actions where the option is available.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, our Community Guidelines, or for any reason at our reasonable discretion. Some information may be retained after termination as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR USER CONTENT OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUFREE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold YouFree harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YouFree operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws give you the right to sue locally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes inside the app, by email, or by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
